Schack Gallery

The unchanged art collection of the German man of letters Count Adolf Friedrich von Schack of Schwerin (1815 - 1894) allows an intimate insight into the artistic preferences of a private collector in the 19th century. Works by Spitzweg, Schwind, Böcklin und Feuerbach with picturesque scenes and magical Landscapes, where fauns and elves play, carry the visitor to a fabulous romantic world.
