The Deutsches Museum's Aerodrome in Schleißheim
The Museum for Air and
Space Travel is a branch of the Deutsches Museum and is on the
grounds of Germany's oldest airport. Over 50 aeroplanes, helicopters,
hanggliders, various on-board and ground appliances as well
as part of the european rocket Ariane allow the visitor a glimpse
of the stirring history of air travel. The visitor can also
take a peek through the workshop windows to see restoration
work being carried out.
